The Instrumentation and Electrical (I&E) Technician I is responsible for the planning, design, testing, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment within their assigned geographical area. This role involves hands-on troubleshooting, contractor coordination, and supporting automation systems to ensure operational efficiency and safety compliance.Collaborate with Construction Supervisor, Operations Foremen, and Automation teams to troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues.Coordinate and oversee electrical contractors for both high voltage and small wire work.Perform daily maintenance and repairs, including hands-on electrical troubleshooting.Inspect contractor work for quality and safety compliance.Proactively identify and report potential or developing field issues.Support SWD (Salt Water Disposal) and RTU (Remote Terminal Unit) system startups.Assist with onboarding of new producers or sites.Manage installation of field monitoring systems such as cameras.Provide remote and on-site automation support at SWD and RTU sites.Ensure adherence to all safety requirements and protocols.3-5 years of industrial field electrician experience required.Strong skills in problem-solving, task prioritization, communication (verbal and written), and active listening.Self-motivated, adaptable, and accountable; able to work independently or within a team.Strong sense of urgency and sound judgment.Must perform physical tasks such as entering confined spaces, climbing stairs/ladders, operating valves, and walking long distances.Outdoor work in all weather conditions.Must frequently lift up to 50 lbs, with average lifting of 25 lbs.Frequent pushing, pulling, crawling, crouching, kneeling, and climbing.Operate a vehicle approximately 70% of the time.Flexible schedule with availability outside of normal business hours.Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.Completion of IADC RigPass, SafeLand, or Expand Energy-approved equivalent orientation required.High school diploma or GED required; additional technical training or certifications are a plus.Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
