Blue Ridge Health is currently seeking a Psychiatric Service Line Coordinator to be part of our Clinical Team.A competitive benefits plan, including Medical, Dental and VisionCompany sponsored life insurance and short and long-term disability coverage403(b) retirement account with company matchingSupplemental accident insurance available9 paid holidays per yearPTO and Personal Day accrual, starting day 1 - (We value a work-life balance!)The Psychiatric Service Line Coordinatoris responsible for managing patient care schedules, delivering excellent customer service, and providing Behavioral Health Clinical Support Staff (CSS) supervision to ensure the highest degree of efficiency in patient care and patient flow at BRH clinic locations. Responsibilities include:Maintain patient flow by completing routine tasks such as room setup, supply stocking, equipment checks, and safe disposal of materials; follow protocols for patient work-ups and check-ins.Support providers with patient education, documentation, medication reconciliation, paperwork, and structured communication for pre-visit planning.Review charts before appointments, manage refill requests and follow-ups, and ensure accurate documentation in EMR, including logs and tracking forms.Perform CLIA-waived tests, administer injections, and provide treatments and patient education per provider orders and documented competencies.Adhere to HIPAA, OSHA, infection control, and Joint Commission standards; participate in required trainings and quality improvement initiatives.Track referrals, labs, and hospitalizations to ensure follow-up; assist other departments as needed under the direction of the Psychiatric Service Line Manager.Oversee Behavioral Health CSS scheduling, training, and evaluations; coordinate workflow and address patient complaints in collaboration with leadership.Manage psychiatric supply orders, monitor equipment maintenance, and implement cost-saving measures for medical supply use.High school diploma or equivalent required.Bachelors in Business or Health Care Administration or related field, preferredIf CSS has Certification/Licensure, Specific Requirements include:LPN or RN (preferred): Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse currently licensed to practice in state of North CarolinaMA: Medical Assistant Certification or Registered Medical Assistant. May also have CNA certification with at least one year clinical experience working as a medical assistantKnowledge of medical terminologyTwo years’ experience working in an outpatient medical practice setting required.Bilingual preferred, but not required.
