Must have the ability to follow detailed writteninstructions in the performance of electrical,optical, and mechanical assembly operations thatinclude: solder, harness and cable, mechanicalassembly of chassis, drilling operations, linereplaceable units and systems level assembly. Must have the ability to pass the solder, harness andcable certification course provided by thecompany. Must have Prior computer experience required becausework instructions are online for configuration control.Candidates must have theability to work 1st, 2nd, 3rd , or 'D' weekend shiftaccording to the collective bargaining agreementbetween Lockheed Martin and the UAW.Desired Skills:• Previous precision drilling on metals and composites• Taps, laps, reams, scrapes, files and otherwiseprogressively fits and assembles components for such assemblies as computers, scanners, radarmechanisms, guidance units, differentials, gyro stabletables, radar plumbing and similar complex units.• Performs to engineering specifications a wide varietyof complicated assembly operations including the complete assembly of complex and precise optical,mechanical, electrical units requiring extremely close tolerances.
