This posiiton requiers an Active Top Secret security clearance to be considered.Position Summary:We are seeking a qualified and experienced Mid-level Information Security Officer with 4+ years of experience that will support the establishment, implementation, and maintenance of a life-cycle security model that develops, maintains, and dispositions of the customer. The ISSO will be part of a team that will focus on security analysis of systems, applications, networks and controlled interfaces to ensure they are operated and maintained in accordance with security policies and practices and reports all information system security incidents through the appropriate customer channels.Key Responsibilities:Perform as a contributor in development of security process and document within the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)Help assess information protection meets mission and business needsContribute insight in the selection of applicable security controls and best practicesAssist with the design and collaborate on system security architectureHelp perform vulnerability and risk assessment for certification and accreditationParticipate in the evaluation of security solutions for compliance with classified data handlingHelp update system security plans and related IA documentationHelp assess operational security posture and day-to-day security operationsHelp assess security impact of system updatesTake part in configuration and change management for security-relevant componentsParticipate in development of detailed security designs including trade-off analysisPropose, implement, and enforce information security policies and standardsHelp track and maintain records of hardware/software/network security assetsAssist with evaluating and integrating security solutionsTechnical Experience or KnowledgeMinimum of 4+ years of security experience as an ISSO or equivalent positionDemonstrate experience or have intermediate knowledge of the following tools:JCAM (Joint Cybersecurity Authorization Management)Telos XactaGitLabAtlassian JIRA and ConfluenceMicrosoft SharePointSplunkBigFixTenable Security CenterEducation/Certifications/SkillsAssociate’s degree in Systems Security, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fieldDemonstrated expertise through advanced certifications will be considered a significant asset in candidate resume for the following or equivalent certifications:CompTIA Cloud+Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP)AWS Certified Security - SpecialtyMicrosoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer AssociateGoogle Professional Cloud Security EngineerAgile Practitioner Certifications, preferredExcellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skillsParadyme, a CATHEXIS Company is an equal opportunity employer.
