At UnityPoint Health, you matter.The System Transfer Center Intake Physician serves as a clinical liaison to ensure timely, appropriate patient transfers across hospital facilities. This role involves reviewing transfer requests, assessing clinical needs, coordinating with specialty teams, and facilitating patient placement to optimize care transitions.The physician supports communication between referring and receiving providers, resolves clinical concerns, and may accept patients on behalf of admitting providers within defined guidelines.
