You will coach, guide, and mentor a group of front line leaders and associates to create culture of safety, quality, and service. You will collaborate in an effort to drive continuous improvement across inventory management, labor productivity, and customer service activities. Responsible for managing and coordinating activities for the Shipping and Warehouse departments and implementing procedures to improve inventory management, outbound shipment efficiencies, and adhering to safety and quality guidelines.Responsibilities:Develop and sustain a culture of safety through regular presence on the floor, engaging with team members across functions to identify improvement opportunities, and ensure completion of all relevant training and observationsEnsure all team members follow standard work procedures that allow for accurate inventory counts across all raw materials and finished goods inventory locationsHire, train, develop, and grow team of front line leaders and hourly associates to exceed customer expectations and consistently deliver financial resultsParticipate in site leadership team meetings and activities, ensuring seamless communication across functions, alignment on site priorities, and ensure a voice of one approach to challenges and opportunitiesCollaborate with customer success, order execution, and transportation teams to consistently deliver on time shipments while minimizing truck wait timesThis position has responsibilities related to Food Safety and QualityOther responsibilities, as necessary.Supervisory: This position has supervisory responsibilities.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Related Field Preferred5+ years experience in Distribution / Warehouse setting or supply chain management roleFood/beverage and/or CPG experience preferredExperience with ERP, WMS, and WES preferredPhysical Demands:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to handle, reach with hands and arms, see, talk, and hear. The employee is required to stand, walk, stoop, or kneel. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and to wet and/or humid conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to extreme cold. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
