Job Description

Sierra Lobo, Inc. offers customers a full range of professional and technical capabilities, including Test and Evaluation, Systems Engineering, and Advanced Technologies. We also develop products and processes related to Cryogenic Fluid and Thermal Management Systems, Densified Propellant Management Systems, and Prototype Extreme Pressure and Temperature Systems. Our customers include the Department of Defense (DoD), the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Navy, U.S. Army, Missile Defense Agency (MDA), and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).This is a full-time direct-hire position located at or near our Hoover Road facility in Milan, Ohio. The successful applicable will support multiple integrated project teams in the reactivation and ongoing operation of a world-class government-owned aerospace research and test facility.Fabricate, install, modify, maintain/repair a wide variety of electrical systems such as:Low and medium voltage AC power systemsDC power systemsPLCsRaceway and Conduit and SystemsIllumination/lightingTransformersGeneratorsSwitchgearBreakers, switches, relays, starters, and field devicesPerform:Reverse-Engineering of existing systemsWire crimping and terminationMotor maintenanceWork with devices such as valve limit switches, pressure transducers, valve control loops, vacuum and flow switches, proximity detectors, flame and combustible gas detectors, photocells, thermocouples, transducers, etc.QualificationsRequires comprehension of:NFPA 70 “National Electric Code”NFPA 70E “Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace”OSHA StandardsIEEE StandardsExperience with ISO9001:2000 or AS91000 Quality SystemsRead and interpret electrical drawings, sketches, and technical documentationBasic Qualifications:Journeyman Electrician Certificate (Preferred) or Associate of Applied Science Degree in Engineering TechnologyMinimum six (6) years of related field experienceMust be a US Citizen
