Maintenance Position

NY1536141 Maintenance Position needed for Green Thumb Environmental Beautification in Fultonham, NY. Pay rate is $15.50 per hour. Work Activities 1.Assist with ground maintenance and beautification projects at parks and historic sites. 2.Assist with painting and staining of stand-alone objects or free-standing items such as picnic tables, benches, signs, or containers. 3.Assist with minor repairs to interiors and exteriors of buildings. 4.Assist with custodial projects. 5.Assist with clerical duties such as filing and bookkeeping. Detailed Work Activities All activities below are subject to Work Limitations; not all of these jobs may apply at this jobsite. 1.Remove trash, debris, and foreign material from walks, drives and lawns. 2.Mow lawns and keep them neat in appearance. 3.Maintain trees, shrubs, flowers, and planting including the removal of dead, dying and damaged growth. 4.Sweep walks and remove snow. 5.Clean up parking areas and drives. 6.Empty trash containers. 7.Clean picnic tables and concrete pads where applicable. 8.Clean restrooms, including floors, walls, toilets, urinals, mirrors, sinks and drinking fountains. 9.Replenish soap and paper before they are empty. 10.Check lights, furnace, pumps, and water heaters and report any irregularities to site supervisor. 11.Sort and inventory various materials. 12.Report vandalism to site supervisor. OPRHP workers shall notify State Police of any criminal activity.
