Patrol Deputy

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Benefit Status :Eligible for benefits POSITION SUMMARY Advanced level position responsible for performing law enforcement work to protect life and property, prevent the commission of crimes and preserve peace by functioning as a certified Colorado peace officer in the department. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: MUST be able to pass a drug screening Education and Experience: High School diploma or GED; and One to two years of progressively responsible related experience; or, Any combination or education, training, and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job. Must be able to work variable hours.
