Job Summary: As a Relationship Banker for Nantahala Bank, you will be the face of our bank, building lasting relationships with customers and helping them achieve their financial goals. You will provide personalized banking services, promote financial products, and support the overall success of the branch through exceptional customer service and community engagement. **Major Duties, Responsibilities, Activities ** Customer Relationship Management: - Serve as the primary point of contact for customers' banking needs. - Build and maintain strong relationships with individuals, families, and small businesses. - Proactively identify opportunities to deepen relationships through financial solutions. - Strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and fostering positive relationships with co-workers and customers. Sales and Service: - Educate customers on bank products and services, including checking, savings, loans, and digital banking tools. - Meet or exceed sales and referral goals through consultative conversations. - Assist customers with account openings, transactions, and problem resolution. Operational Excellence: - Ensure compliance with bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. - Accurately process financial transactions and maintain proper documentation. - Support branch operations including audits, cash handling, and reporting. **Community Engagement:** - Represent the bank at local events and support community initiatives. - Foster trust and goodwill within the community through ethical and responsive service. - Performs other duties as assigned.
