Clinic Care Assistant

The Clinic Care Assistant is responsible for the feeding, cleaning and care of onsite resident cats and their living areas, and occasional assistance with cleaning and maintaining the clinic and office spaces. Qualified candidates must have the ability to sit, stand, bend and lift up to 20 lbs, ability to understand physical and social needs of semi-tame cats and handle them for transport when needed and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to providing fresh food and water, scooping litter boxes, cleaning dishes, beds, bedding and floors, administering medications, vacuuming, mopping and cleaning sinks, counters and tables. Hours will generally be 7:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays with the potential for additional hours as needed.
