You’re detail-oriented, analytical, and motivated by accuracy and integrity. As a Staff Auditor, you’ll help safeguard the bank’s assets by performing audit procedures, reviewing compliance, and evaluating internal controls. You’ll play an important role in ensuring reliability, transparency, and compliance with regulations while supporting the bank’s mission of excellence and accountability. You enjoy problem-solving, can navigate complex systems, and have a keen eye for spotting risks and opportunities for improvement. You will be responsible for: + Performing audit tests and procedures to validate reliability of operating systems, controls, and financial records. + Reviewing compliance with bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. + Evaluating internal controls to ensure the integrity of information and reliability of financial reporting. + Completing scheduled audits, preparing risk assessments, developing work papers, and testing transactions. + Documenting findings by writing accurate audit reports with recommendations and presenting results to business units. + Collaborating with departments during audits, conducting exit meetings, and discussing findings. + Supporting quarterly SOX testing and assisting with other compliance-related reviews. + Participating in training and development to build expertise in audit practices, financial reporting, and risk management. Requirements: Education & Experience – You will need some college or technical school courses in a related field AND 2-4 years of previously related experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience. Special Requirements – Travel is necessary to conduct audits using fleet vehicles and attend schooling/seminars.
