We offer new technology and fanatical team environment.Position Summary: Under Direct and Indirect Supervision, field New Patient Calls from website and post-marketing pieces. Schedule Doctor and Hygiene appointments from call volume. Answer inquiries and obtain information for general public, patients, visitors, and other interested parties. Provide information to callers; Perform routine clerical and administrative functions such as tracking call statistics, scheduling appointments, update records and maintaining electronic files.High school diploma or equivalent required.A minimum of two years of front office experience preferably in a dental setting.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.Knowledge of dental software strongly preferred.Essential Functions:· Operate phones to answer, screen and forward calls, providing information, taking messages and scheduling appointments.· Greet callers, handle their inquiries, and direct them to the appropriate persons according to their needs.· Learn to operate new office technologies as they are developed and implemented.· Ability to perform all necessary daily responsibilities and reporting using Dentrix Software pertaining to role.· Memorize and use scripts effectively both over the phone and in person.· File notes and maintain records.· Provide information about the Practice, such as location of offices, employees within the organization, or services provided.· Transmit information or documents to patients, using computer or mail.· Must always represent the practice in a professional, pleasant, and cooperative manner.· Must maintain regular, consistent, and punctual attendance in accordance with assigned schedule and time off policies.· Excellent computer skills and ability to use practice software systems.· Actively pursues provision of excellent patient service.· May be required to train and supervise others on the administrative team.· Must be able to comfortably and efficiently handle multiple deadlines and task assignments.· Must be able to work both independently and cooperatively in team settings.· Must be flexible with work schedule as you may be occasionally asked to come in on an assigned day off for training or to cover absences.· May be required to come in on an assigned day off for training or to cover absences.· Occasionally there may be some travel, by car or plane, required in order for you to participate in continuing education or seminars.· Other duties and tasks, as assigned periodically.In return for providing an excellent patient experience, we offer a great benefits package to include health and dental benefits, 401(k), holiday pay and paid time off.18-202025-16632
