This position sits out of our client's Palo Verde Nuclear site in Tonopah, AZ. Minimum qualifications for the position are shown below:Associate’s Degree with an emphasis in drafting & design or related fieldProficient experience with MicroStation design softwareAbility to learn and effectively utilize new design software programs as requiredMinimum of 2 years of experience in drafting with MicroStation3-4 years of drafting & design experience is preferredAbility to utilize both 2D and 3D applications to prepare engineering drawingsUnderstand and follow all organizational, area/departmental, and client procedures, safety policies, and directivesExperience conducting self-checks of created drawings, sketches, and related data to proactively identify factors that may negatively affect final productAbility to work independently of engineers but confer with engineers and other designers for design concept interpretationProficiency with Microsoft Office SuiteExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work collaboratively with others (Engineers, Designers, Project Managers) in a multi-disciplined project team environment to resolve design and drawing issues as appropriate and to accomplish objectivesStrong organizational skills and attention to detailExperience working in the Nuclear, Utilities, or Power Industry is a plusAbout ENERCON:At Enercon Services, Inc.
