Job Description

The Physical Therapist is a qualified person who directs, supervises, evaluates, and provides Physical Therapy services to patients in the acute, swing, skilled nursing and outpatient settings as prescribed and ordered by the attending physician.You may be requested to travel between the two offices situated in Quincy, CA, and Greenville, CA.Compensation Philosophy: We have 13 pay increments on our clinical pay scales to compensate successful candidate for 30 years of relevant experienceCompensation Range: $66.61 - $94.97/ hourPer DiemYou will be employed in our inpatient and swing bed departments. You may be requested to provide assistance in our outpatient and skilled nursing facility departments.Education:Bachelor degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited education institution.Current California Occupational Therapist License.Current Healthcare Provider BLS Certification, approved by the AHA. Experience:Two to three (2-3) years’ experience in an acute care hospital, rehabilitation center and outpatient setting. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Excellent interpersonal communication skills.Compassionate and attentive to detail.Possess up-to-date knowledge of treatment practices.Ability to solve problems independently.Excellent analytical and logical thinking.Ability to manage patients with different personalities.Ability to write reports and correspondence at a professional level.Ability to use a computer and software proficiently.Drive to continually learn new treatment techniques.Completion of an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA)-accredited residency program.Provision of assessment and evidence-based treatments.Skill in the wide range of basic evaluation instruments.Ability to modify and/or adapt treatment techniques to improve outcomes.Participation in PI/QA programs.Participation in departmental meetings.Supervision of COTAaid, as needed.Other duties as requested.Options offered to benefit eligible employees: Excellent Medical, Pharmacy, Dental, and Vision PlansPaid days for continuing education, bereavement, and jury dutyRetirement Plans with 3% company contributionVoluntary Life Insurance and Long Term Disability Considerable Paid Time OffAnd more!
