Dental Assistant - Part TimeSummary:The Dental Assistant supports dental care delivery by preparing treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materials; passing instruments and materials; performing procedures in compliance with the Colorado dental standards. Other duties may be assigned.Assists the doctor in proceduresTakes x-raysInstructs patients on oral hygieneSterilizes instrumentsSets up/breakdown and prepares rooms for treatment/hygieneEducation and/or Experience:Certification from a dental college OR three to six months related experience and/or training OR equivalent combination of education and experience, preferredBilingual in Spanish, preferredRequired Certificates or Licenses:Colorado X-Ray certificationCurrent BLS certification
