(GA-ASI), an affiliate of General Atomics, is a world leader in proven, reliable remotely piloted aircraft and tactical reconnaissance radars, as well as advanced high-resolution surveillance systems.We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, Project Engineer to join our MQ-9B Program Engineering group located in Poway, CA focused on development and fielding of MQ-9B SkyGuardian and SeaGuardian UAS for the country of India.This Project Engineer will support global strategic supplier development efforts to establish Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) as well as production of MQ-9B subsystems and components within India., In this role, the Project Engineer will play an integral role establishing indigenous MRO and production capability within India meeting contractual and strategic goals for this program., DUTIES ,RESPONSIBILITIES:Work collaboratively with India suppliers to include development of work packages, contract elements and collaboration work productsDevelop supplier SOWs for Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) servicesPrepare RFP packages for suppliersDevelop Product Service Agreements with suppliersValidate standardized work instructions with productionDevelop list of special tools, fixtures, and test equipment needed for repair workPrepares Depot Bill of Material (BOM) kits for repairsDocument special processes and certification for repair workDocument long lead items for System Spares, Payloads, Depot Parts and ToolsIdentify and document required depot training for repair workAssists in preparation of technical data package for Ground Support Equipment (GSE) production in IndiaPrepare monthly Program Progress Status reports with IMS schedule updatesSupport supplier/customer meetings, take minutes and follow up action itemsPrepare internal program review updatesReview RFI responses from international suppliers; track supplier responses and summarize key findingsAssist in technology transfer and provide product engineering supportMaintain production progress tracker with any new purchasesTroubleshoot conflicting design/development requirements, difficult coordination elements, and special requirementsPerform other duties as assigned.We recognize and appreciate the value and contributions of individuals with diverse backgrounds and experiences and welcome all qualified individuals to apply.,
