PeopleTec is currently seeking a Scrum Masterto support our Huntsville, AL location.We are seeking a software scrum master interested in joining an award-winning company and working with cutting-edge missile defense modeling and simulation technologies. The selected candidate will be a member of a dynamic Huntsville-based team working on state-of-the-art system-of-systems frameworks and blending engineering and software skills. This is a full-time, on-site position.Duties Include:Facilitating agile team level events including planning breakouts, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, feature elaboration, sprint review, etc.Providing reporting of impediments, blockers, and risksWorking with Release Train Engineer to set performance and growth targets for their teamsMentoring agile team membersParticipating in scrum of scrums, inspect and adapt, and ad hoc sessionsCoordinating cross-team collaboration, dependencies, and reporting these to the Release Train EngineerEnsuring teamwork, progress, and artifacts are transparent to stakeholdersRequired Skills/Experience:Familiar with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)Able to communicate across all levels of the programStrong knowledge of Agile Scrum workflow and KanbanStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsAbility to lead and facilitate all Agile ceremoniesMust be a U.S. CitizenAn active DoD Secret clearance is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have an active Secret clearance upon hire, and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment.Education Requirements:Bachelor’s degree from accredited college in related discipline with 5 years professional experience; or Master’s degree with 3 years professional experience; or PhD with no experienceDesired Skills:SAFe Scrum Master certificationFamiliar with Jira or similar issue tracking and agile project management toolAbility to collaborate with cross functional teamsFamiliar with Agile project tools Version1/Agility or JiraExperience with DevSecOpsPeople First.
