PeopleTec is currently seeking a Junior Logistician to support our Huntsville, AL location.PeopleTec is seeking a Joint Munitions Effectives Manual (JMEM) Weaponeering Software (JWS) Junior Logistician -a motivated self-starter who is interested in joining an award-winning, employee-owned company and working with cutting edge products in the defense of the United States. The selected candidate will be a member of our dynamic Huntsville team and will provide logistics support for PeopleTec’s efforts in support of the development of the Joint Munitions Effectiveness Manual Weaponeering Software (JWS).Our team supports the Joint Technical Coordinating Group for Munitions Effectiveness (JTCG/ME) in its mission to provide a mechanism for inter-service efforts to improve the databases and analytical methodologies the Joint force uses to determine non-nuclear weapons effectiveness. JWS is a key component of this mission, as it is designed to support U.S. and allied military planners in selecting the most effective munitions and delivery tactics to achieve specific target effects. Its primary purpose is to provide a standardized, scientifically-based tool for weaponeering — the process of matching weapons to targets to produce a desired level of damage or effect.The successful candidate will be an adaptable, agile, junior logistician who is a consummate team player capable of supporting receipt, accountability, preparation, coordination, and shipping of training equipment, logging paperwork for all training equipment requests, and coordinating with the Government to transport equipment and materials in and out of the continental US.Duties:Responsibility for logistics associated with JTCG/ME training at both Continental United States (CONUS) and Outside Continental United States (OCONUS) locationsCoordination with the Government to transport training equipment and materials to OCONUS locationsCoordination with the Government to develop shipping costs and procure shipping labels for training materialsSupporting receipt, preparation, coordination, and shipping of training equipmentMaintaining accountability for all contractor and Government furnished equipment (e.g., training laptops, laptop imaging capabilities, and shipping containers) used in support of JWSConducting required inventories of all property and accounting for it in the appropriate PeopleTec and Government systemsLogging all paperwork associated with the accountability, transport, and receipt of materials associated with this contractProducing Government Property Status Reports as required by the contractMaintaining the program’s property management plan and submitting Property Management System procedures to the Government as requiredCompleting the plant clearance inventory schedule as requiredCompleting and maintaining training courses as required by the contractRequired Skills/Experience:Travel: Up to 20%Must be a U.S. CitizenAn active DoD Secret clearance is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have an active Secret clearance upon hire, and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment.Education Requirements:Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or universityPhysical Job Requirements:Able to lift up to 20 poundsDesired Skills:Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in logistics or a related area of studyPrevious experience with the Department of Defense (DoD)Three (3) years of experience working logistics for a DoD contractExperience in accounting for Government Furnished Property (GFP) and maintaining associated paperworkSound oral communication and written skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)The ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environmentMust be a US citizenEstimated Time to Hire:November 2025People First.
