Job Duties Position Type: Special Education K-12/Special Education Teacher Date Posted: 9/3/2025 Location: East Rapids Elementary Date Available: September 2025 Closing Date: 09/18/2025 @ 11:30 PM REPORTS TO: Principal and Special Services Director TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Teaching Agreement, salaried position, 1.0 FTE Starting Pay: $44,976 to $88,220 depending on education and previous experience. Grand Rapids Area Schools offers a comprehensive benefits package. The district offers contributions toward medical insurance including a health savings account. The district offers paid time off including sick and personal leave. District paid life insurance and long-term disability insurance are available to full-time teachers.
