Production Workers

Various production positions available, including: - Bi-Fold - Feeder - Layup - Repair What you will do: ***Can include the following:*** - Reads/interprets shipping schedules, stages doors, sorts by length, width, customer, core type to create correct stacks for shipping - Conduct pre-shift inspection of the forklift to ensure safety and operational compliance - Fuel forklifts as required - Provide safe operation of forklift throughout the facility - Along with co-worker, feed doors coming into Trimsaw - Grab proper pallet for doors to be stacked on - Clean up work area when shift ends using LOTO procedures - Abide by all safety rules and regulations required with forklift operation - Pay attention to detail when pulling items from Warehouse based on work order - Assist with repairs in the Quality Department - Assists with other repairs throughout the facility - Replace pallets/runners as necessary to maintain a safe working environment - Will also perform other related duties as assigned, which may not be specifically listed in the job description. This is a hybrid role in that the employee will be working in numerous departments. - Placing correct components including stile and rails into the glue spreader machine - Assemble and set up components for layup feeder so that the doors can be pressed as per SOPs - Work alongside with other layup members What you will need: - Preferably one year experience in manufacturing setting - HS Diploma or GED preferred - Able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen - Prior forklift operation in manufacturing environment - Must read and write English - Must demonstrate solid teamwork abilities Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: *Can include the following:* - Basic Masterpak knowledge - Ability to read schedule - Good product knowledge and knowledge of door specifications - Forklift knowledge and safety procedures - Ability to work independently and effectively in a team environment - High level of concentration and some attention to detail - Ability to keep up with fast pace with moderate to high heavy lifting and repetition - Solid verbal and written communication skills - Ability to lift to 50+ lbs.
