This team is equipped to treat children with a variety of different orthopedic conditions ranging from mild to complex. This position provides services in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Position requires strong skills in child development, assessment and planning, psychosocial support, procedural support and preparation, group leadership, volunteer supervision and goal directed play.This is not an all-inclusive list of this job’s responsibilities. The incumbent may be required to perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.Required:Bachelor’s degree in Child Life, Child Development or related fieldCertified Child Life Specialist, or be eligible to sit for the certification examPreferred:One year’s experience in a hospital child life program
