Accounts Payable Specialist

As ourAccounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible forproviding support to the Finance Department primarily in vouchering invoices, matching PO’s to vouchers, and paying invoices. This position is also responsible for disbursing funds on the company’s behalf and creating and maintaining vendor records. Principal Duties and ResponsibilitiesEssential FunctionsProcess high-volume invoices and ensure timely and accurate payment to vendorsVerify, reconcile, and resolve discrepancies in purchase orders, invoices, and payment requestsMaintain and update vendor records in the accounting systemPrepare and process electronic transfers and payments (ACH, wires, checks)Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve payment issues and inquiriesEnsure compliance with company policies and relevant accounting regulationsMaintains regular and predictable in-office attendanceSupport the finance team with ad hoc tasks and reports as neededAbides by all policies and procedures of Oriental Trading CompanyMarginal Functions1.
