Our growing company is seeking to hire 2nd shift - MIG Welders.Responsible for various types of weld preparation, welding and weld finishing operations to manufacture product to customer drawings, specifications, or other forms of instruction. (as needed)**Repairs products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling partsMaintains welding equipmentPerforms finish grinding applications using manual and power toolsSets fixturing and weld set up parameters (amps, volts, etc.) as requiredKnowledge of wire, filler materials and gases applicable for various steel alloysRequired ExperienceHigh School diploma or GED, prefer a Weld Vocational Tech certificationOne year work experience in various forms of welding, preferably in a production environmentProficient in MIG welding techniquesKnowledge of wire and filler materials and gases application for various alloys, working knowledge of fixturer and weld set-up parameters (amps, volts, etc.)Successful completion of an internal welding test, and the ability to achieve certification to customer requirements as applicableAbility to read blueprints, especially weld requirement symbolsEligible to work in the United States
