View the comprehensive information about the competitive benefits package on our careers page then scroll down to CENTERS Benefits (click link to view).Primary Responsibilities:[To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform primary and administrative responsibilities satisfactorily.]Greet all members and guests who enter the facility, and request if they need assistanceCommunicate and enforce all policies and proceduresContinually monitor and maintain cleanliness of entire facilityUnderstand and demonstrate competencies in department Emergency Action PlanKeep a clean and presentable workspaceRepresent University Recreation and Wellbeing at all timesAssist the Operations Supervisor/Professional Staff with tasks as requestedOther duties as requiredAdministrative Responsibilities:Attend staff meetings and trainings hosted by University Recreation and WellbeingFile all forms in the appropriate areas at the end of each shiftCheck email on a regular basis for communication amongst Operations staffMaintain lost and found database documenting items found across campus and inquiries regarding lost itemsOther duties as requiredMust be actively seeking a degree at Cleveland State UniversityAbility and willingness to enforce policies and handle conflictStrong customer service skills and basic knowledge of computer skillsAbility to handle several tasks at once with frequent interruptionWork Environment:Office environment/fitness center environmentModerate to loud noise Physical Demands:Standing or walkingRepetitive wrist, hand, or finger movement (while operating computer equipment)Occasional bending, stoopingEye-hand coordination (keyboard typing)Hearing and talkingOther DutiesPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
