At OHSU, APPs thrive as clinicians, educators, researchers, and leaders shaping the future of healthcare.Our Division of Hematology & Medical Oncology is seeking Advanced Practice Providers who will provide clinical management of patients in various outpatient settings within the Division of Hematology & Medical Oncology.The purposes of these roles are to: Provide clinical management of patients in Hematology & Medical Oncology;Assure a coordinated, effective, high-quality, and efficient care process; Use an interdisciplinary team approach to the care of patients;Work collaboratively with clinic management on process improvement projects;Provide education to colleagues, staff, and students as needed.Allogeneic Transplant:The Center for Hematologic Malignancies (CHM) outpatient clinic provides acute and long-term care to patients who have undergone an autologous or allogeneic hematopoietic cell transplant (HCT) or received other cellular therapies such as chimeric antigen receptor T-cell (CAR-T) therapy. Seeing up to 12 patients per day, this APP provides care in conjunction with a team comprised of physicians, APPs, RN coordinators, and other allied health professionals. APPs may practice both independently or in a shared-care model with physicians, as determined by the needs of the team. Additionally, this APP may be intermittently provide oversight of the infusion unit, responding to acute infusion reactions and urgent medical issues.Outpatient Auto-Transplant/CAR-T Clinic:Summary: The Center for Hematologic Malignancies (CHM) outpatient clinic provides acute and long-term care to patients who have undergone an autologous) or received other cellular therapies such as chimeric antigen receptor T-cell (CAR-T) therapy. This position provides clinical management of oncology patients in the outpatient setting in Hematology Oncology within the Lymphoma Program. Seeing up to 12 patients per day, this Advanced Practice Provider (APP) provides care in conjunction with a team comprised of physicians, APPs, RN coordinators, and other allied health professionals. APPs may practice independently.
