We are looking for some enthusiastic, outgoing, and responsible folks to serve as members of the Firebirds Energy Team for the 2025-2026 season. This position provides a great opportunity to interact with our fans while learning about the operations of a professional hockey team. These members will assist with in-game promotions, contests, on-ice performances, and other activities during each Firebirds home game.This role will pay an hourly rate of $20.00Benefits for Part-Time roles: 401(k) savings plan and 401(k) matching.This position will remain open until December 5, 2025.America’s hottest music festival destination finally has the world-class arena it deserves. We are #TheCoolestSpot in the desert, designed specifically for hockey and made for concerts, Acrisure Arena provides top-tier hospitality, artist amenities, and all of the benefits of a modern music and sports venue to the Coachella Valley.Working with the game director and manager on the preparation and organization of all entertainment aspects of the Firebirds’ home gamesAssisting in execution of game night plans, mascot skits, and all contests/promotions on the ice and in the standsStaging and maintenance of all in-game props and promotionsOrganizing all game night set-up including game night mapping, notes and walkthroughs and other special event needs as requiredEngage with fans during pre-game to bring in contestants and participation for in-game promotions and Zamboni ridesAssists in inventory of all props and in-game fan giveawaysOther duties as assigned by Manager, Game PresentationAttention to detail and great organizational skillsMust be able to work in a fast-paced environmentStrong ability to work well with others in a team environmentAbility to work independently and see projects through completionMust have flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidaysHigh level communication skillsAbility to skate is a plus, but NOT requiredAt OVG, we understand that to continue positively disrupting the sports and live entertainment industry, we need a diverse team to help us do it.
