Fall 2026 Co-Op Engineer- Blacksburg, VA or Herndon, VA

Peraton is seeking Co-Op Engineers for the Fall 2026 semester in either our Blacksburg, VA orHerndon, VA officessupporting various government programs/contracts.Interns/Co-ops typically represent college students trying to gain related work experience while pursuing an undergraduate degree. Under direct supervision, the ideal candidate will design, develop, and test leading edge technology solutions in areas such as cybersecurity, satellite ground systems, information management systems, cloud computing, and mobility. They will work in a collaborative, team-oriented Agile software development environment.Required Qualifications:US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.HS Diploma and some advanced level training. You are a current undergrad or graduate student and have completed progress toward a BS/BA degree or MS/MA degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field. You have a foundation in object-oriented development, preferably in Java.
