Career Coaching and ProgrammingProvides high-quality career coaching, including job search strategies, on-campus recruiting, rsum/curriculum vitae writing, cover letter writing, interview preparation, pathway exploration, student-employee relations, and offer evaluations, in one-on-one and group settings for all students, but with a special focus on undergraduate students.Designs and delivers career presentations and workshops to students, especially undergraduate students.Facilitate Career Interest Groups (CIGs) to provide undergraduate students with a meaningful upper-and lower-division students and alumni-student mentorship experience.Marketing and Event PlanningDevelops advising and promotional materials aligned with college branding.Markets best practices to increase undergraduate attendance and participation in career development programming.Delivers presentations to undergraduate employers to advocate for School of Nursing students.Plans, executes, and supports career-related events and activities planning, including employer scheduling, meetings, and visits (on and off campus), career fairs, and information sessions.Employer and Campus CollaborationsConsulting undergraduate employers on successful on-campus (including) recruiting strategies and engagement.Maintains collaborative correspondence with career success leaders across dustry Knowledge and CollaborationKeeps up to date of national and regional trends related to undergraduate nursing student career success.Assess industry standards and needs and adjusts career success programing to meet current industry needs.Serves on other school and university committees and working groups as requested.Data and Information Systems and Social MediaManages career success surveys, including Qualtrics and Twelve-Twenty.Manages on-campus recruiting systems for internship, externship, and full-time postings.Manages social media, such as LinkedIn and Facebook groups relating to career success.Assists in the collection and reporting of 90% Career Knowledge Rate and the 90% Career Outcomes Rate metrics and other career success impact data and statistics.Assists in developing, collecting, and reporting additional impactful (e.g., placement/employment-to-employment/placement conversation, first-choice placement/employment, confidence self-assessment, satisfaction surveys; compensation) career success data and statistics.Additional DutiesAdditional duties as assigned, including serving as a facilitator for a Freshmen Interest Group and/or for a Career Success Interest Group and staffing special events (e.g., Convocation, Light the Lamp) and front reception/phone as needed.
