Job Description

For all levels: Creates and updates documented work standards and process specifications, including specifications, blueprints, manuals, or written instructionsProcess wafers through computerized equipment, such as chemical baths, ion implant, furnaces, film deposition, metal evaporation, and photo alignment, for their respective toolsetsCarefully handles and transports productVisually inspects wafers and die for defectsAssists in staging material and setting up next shift for successProvides technical guidance and support in the form of troubleshooting, diagnostics, adjustments, repair, modifications, assembly, and calibration of equipmentSupports engineering with timely communication on results, issues, and bottleneck managementTroubleshoots issues to diagnose root cause and recommend appropriate temporary and permanent solutionsMaintains accurate logs of work performed, modifications, calibrations, and adjustmentsInitiate lot starts at the direction of the Lead or SupervisorTrain and develop junior manufacturing techniciansSupport engineering initiatives on the fab floor, such as participating in or conducting experimentsPerform light equipment maintenance activities.Level I: All of the duties in For all levels and:Responsible for the movement of material through the fab as an expert for their respective primary toolset, and operational management of downstream and upstream tool sets.Process recipe modifications in partnership with principal engineersLevel II: All of the duties in For all levels and:Responsible for the movement of material through the fab as an expert for their two toolsets, and operational management of downstream or upstream tool sets.Support engineering initiatives and to qualify or monitor qualification of tools.Level III: All of the duties in For all levels and:Responsible for the movement of material through the fab as an expert for three toolsets. This includes wafer handling, and processing wafers on semiconductor toolsSupport engineering initiatives and to qualify or monitor qualification of tools
