As the Market Director of Catering Sales, you will lead the catering sales effort across multiple properties, driving top-line revenue, building strong client relationships, and collaborating with operations and sales teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences. What Youu2019ll Do u2013 Direct catering sales to exceed budget expectations in alignment with annual business and asset maximization plans. u2013 Build rapport with clients, qualify needs, and sell the appropriate property to meet their requirements. u2013 Book business in the Sales and Catering systems, prepare contracts, and maintain accurate client files and correspondence. u2013 Partner with operations and event management to ensure seamless execution of events. u2013 Participate in daily business review meetings, pre-convention meetings, training, and other sales-related meetings. u2013 Attend trade shows, community events, and industry meetings to promote the hotels and generate leads. u2013 Monitor market trends, competition, and customer needs to develop effective sales strategies. What Youu2019ll Bring u2013 Bacheloru2019s degree in Business, Hospitality, or a related field; or equivalent hotel experience. u2013 At least one year of sales experience, preferably in catering or group sales. u2013 Mastery of both proactive and reactive sales processes, including qualifying leads, closing business, and growing current accounts. u2013 Excellent written and oral communication skills with a professional demeanor. u2013 Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities. u2013 Positive attitude with a guest-focused mindset.
