This position will give you the chance to work on exciting transportation projects that will require your expertise, experience, and leadership as you proactively identify and solve complex problems; take a broad perspective to identify, develop and analyze innovative solutions; and guide others in solving complex this role, other activities that you will be directly involved with and/or interface with include:u2022 Conceptual and Geometric Schematic Design developmentu2022 Review of environmental studiesu2022 Plans, Specifications, and Estimate (final design) developmentu2022 Development of documents in support of funding and/or Federal Highway Administration guidelines/approvalsu2022 Advanced planningu2022 Public involvementu2022 Toll system and Intelligent Transportation Systems planning, design, and implementationu2022 Surveyingu2022 Right of way and utility supportu2022 Hydraulic studiesu2022 Geotechnical Servicesu2022 Program implementation including design and construction oversight as well as maintenance transition oversightu2022 Cost estimatingu2022 Support in the development of procurement documents and tasks u2022 Bachelors degree in Civil Engineeringu2022 At least 15 years relevant experienceu2022 Experience working with and leading multi-discipline teamsu2022 Texas Professional Engineer (P.E.) license or the ability to obtain within 6 months bases on P.E. license from another stateIdeally, youu2019ll also have:u2022 Experience with multiple project delivery methods (Design Bid Build, Design Build, CMAR, etc.)u2022 TxDOT experience on a large programu2022 TxDOT Precertification in category 23.9.1 General Engineering Consultant (GEC) Project Services (Contract Project Manager)Jacobs is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
