Sr. Revenue Accountant

Job Description Insight Global is seeking a Sr. Revenue Accountant for a client in the Houston, TX area. The Sr Revenue Accountant will serve as a key member of the Revenue team and will be responsible for the preparation of revenue schedules, journal entries, account analysis and reconciliation of all revenue related accounts according to client's closing schedules. Additional responsibilities including, but not limited to, the following: u2003- Coordinate and/or perform monthly revenue close activities for clients u2003- Develop and perform special project activities on revenue related issues u2003- Identify productivity/performance improvement models for department u2003- Keep Management team informed on client/revenue issues u2003- Assist with new client set-up u2003- Provide training and technical support for staff accountants u2003- Communicate technical issues with client, associated parties, and internal departments u2003- Reconcile all revenue accounts monthly u2003- Monthly Severance Tax Reporting Meet client's closing schedule We are a company committed to creating inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
