Job Description Insight Global is looking for a Director of Distribution on behalf of one of the world's leading casual dining restaurant companies with over 1600 global restaurants. The Senior Director of Distribution & Planning is a strategic and operational leader responsible for ensuring product availability across our restaurant system through world-class distribution execution, demand forecasting, and supply planning. This role serves as the key decision-maker for all distribution-related matters and acts as a coach and connector across internal teams and external partners. Key Responsibilities u2003u2022 Distribution Leadership: Own the relationship and performance of third-party distributors, ensuring high service levels, fill rates, and cost efficiency across the network. u2003u2022 Inventory & Supply Planning: Lead the development of data-driven inventory targets and supply plans that align with forecasted demand and promotional activity. u2003u2022 Demand Forecasting: Oversee the creation and refinement of demand forecasts at the ingredient and category level, enabling proactive supply chain decisions. u2003u2022 LTO & Program Integration: Partner cross-functionally to seamlessly roll in new menu items, LTOs, and business programs with minimal disruption to operations. u2003u2022 Risk Management: Identify and mitigate supply chain risks through scenario planning, distributor collaboration, and supplier readiness assessments. u2003u2022 Team Development: Build and coach a high-performing team that thrives on accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.
