Branch/Retail Banking Clerk

Description We are looking for a dedicated Branch/Retail Banking Clerk to join our team in Pecos, Texas. This Contract-to-Permanent position offers an excellent opportunity to build lasting relationships with customers while promoting a range of banking products and services. As part of our team, you will provide exceptional support both at the teller window and beyond, ensuring customer satisfaction and seamless banking operations. Responsibilities: u2022 Assist customers by processing banking transactions accurately and efficiently at the teller window. u2022 Promote and market a variety of credit and non-credit banking products to individual and small business clients. u2022 Build and maintain strong account relationships through proactive communication and personalized service. u2022 Open new accounts and guide customers through the application process for consumer loans. u2022 Address inbound customer inquiries and resolve issues related to banking services. u2022 Utilize banking software to manage daily operations and ensure compliance with financial regulations. u2022 Collaborate with team members to enhance customer experiences and support branch goals. u2022 Handle cash and check transactions securely and in accordance with established procedures. u2022 Participate in ongoing training to stay updated on banking products, services, and operational policies. u2022 Provide support during Saturdays on a rotational schedule. Requirements u2022 Minimum of 1 year of experience in a banking or financial services role. u2022 Proficiency in banking software and familiarity with daily banking operations. u2022 Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle inquiries professionally and efficiently. u2022 Knowledge of banking products, services, and transaction processes. u2022 Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to branch success. u2022 Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. u2022 Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities. u2022 Availability to work varying hours, including rotational Saturdays.
