Quality & HSE Manager

Description Our client is looking for a detail-oriented Quality & HSE to join their team in Willis, Texas. This role involves conducting thorough audits to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and maintaining certifications. The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise and a commitment to excellence in quality assurance and safety management within a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities: u2022 Perform regular audits to ensure compliance with industry standards such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001. u2022 Oversee quality assurance processes to maintain high standards across an assembly-focused manufacturing plant. u2022 Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying and implementing process enhancements. u2022 Ensure the organization meets all regulatory and certification requirements related to safety and environmental health. u2022 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align quality and safety practices with operational goals. u2022 Maintain accurate records of audits and inspections, preparing detailed reports for management. u2022 Provide guidance and training to team members on quality and safety protocols. u2022 Utilize tools like SAP and Six Sigma methodologies to optimize auditing and quality control processes. u2022 Monitor workplace safety by conducting safety audits and inspections regularly. u2022 Assist in developing and refining company policies to enhance quality and safety performance. Requirements u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in a relevant field or at least 6 years of experience in quality assurance and safety management. u2022 Minimum of 5 years of experience in a management role, leading and mentoring teams. u2022 Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards. u2022 Hands-on expertise in conducting audits, with approximately 30% of the role dedicated to auditing. u2022 Proven ability to work effectively in a manufacturing environment, particularly within assembly-focused operations. u2022 Familiarity with quality assurance tools such as SAP and Six Sigma methodologies. u2022 Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. u2022 A commitment to maintaining high standards in safety, environmental health, and regulatory compliance.
