Plant Controller

Description We are in the process of recruiting a Plant Controller for our client in East Texas. The selected candidate will be instrumental in handling the plant's financial matters and utilizing their skills in Sage 100. Responsibilities: u2022 Oversee and manage all financial aspects of the plant operations. u2022 Utilize Sage 100 software for various financial tasks and processes. u2022 Develop and implement financial strategies to support business objectives. u2022 Prepare and present financial reports and metrics to management. u2022 Monitor and analyze plant performance and expenditures. u2022 Collaborate with other departments to develop budgets and financial plans. u2022 Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards. u2022 Implement cost-saving measures and efficiency improvements. u2022 Identify areas of financial performance improvement. u2022 Lead and manage the financial team at the plant. Requirements u2022 Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. u2022 Extensive experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably as a Plant Controller or similar role. u2022 Proficient in using Sage 100 software for accounting and financial tasks. u2022 Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). u2022 Excellent skills in data analysis and interpretation. u2022 Ability to develop effective strategies for financial operations and budgeting. u2022 Exceptional leadership abilities, capable of managing and directing the work of accounting staff. u2022 Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for producing reports and liaising with company management. u2022 High degree of accuracy and attention to detail in all work. u2022 Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. u2022 Proven track record of implementing cost-saving measures and improving efficiency. u2022 Flexibility to adapt to changes in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
