Director of Finance

Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Director of Finance in LAKE DALLAS, Texas. This role is crucial to our operations as it involves leading financial strategies, conducting financial analysis, and ensuring the accuracy of financial records. In addition, you will be responsible for financial reporting and the development of financial policies and procedures. Responsibilities: u2022 Act as the primary financial advisor, providing leadership and direction in financial strategies and priorities u2022 Conduct in-depth financial and resource analysis of operations, evaluating the organization's needs and recommending resource requirements u2022 Develop short and long-range revenue and expenditure forecasts, as well as multi-year forecast models u2022 Monitor status reports, perform financial impact analysis, and recommend budget and planning adjustments as needed u2022 Oversee accounting activities related to general ledger, accounts receivable, and accounts payable, along with monthly bank statement reconciliation u2022 Ensure the quality of financial activities by verifying the accuracy of financial records u2022 Direct external financial reporting, including the preparation of financial statements and development of Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR) u2022 Establish internal financial controls and ensure compliance with all laws, policies, and best practice standards in financial, accounting, budget, and procurement activities u2022 Develop, monitor, and audit finance and procurement policies, practices, and procedures Requirements u2022 Proficiency in 3M software u2022 Experience with Accounting Software Systems u2022 Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services u2022 Proficiency in using Concur software u2022 Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems u2022 Comprehensive knowledge of Accounting Functions u2022 Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) u2022 Ability to manage and create the Annual Budget u2022 Experience in Auditing procedures and processes u2022 Understanding of Budget Processes Robert Half is the worldu2019s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
