Tax Sr. - Corporate

Description We are in the market for a Tax Sr. - Corporate to join our team in The Woodlands, Texas. The role primarily involves working on tax-related business processes and ensuring compliance with laws. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our Tax Consolidation Manager in establishing an efficient tax function. Responsibilities: u2022 Ensure direct tax compliance u2022 Oversee withholding tax compliance, including 1042 filing u2022 Handle sales and use tax compliance and gain experience in these areas u2022 Assist with property tax assessments and gradually learn to liaise with consultants u2022 Gain experience in tax planning, including transfer pricing and R& D incentives u2022 Conduct high-quality analytics of tax positions for global tax footprints u2022 Strive for 100% accurate tax accounting u2022 Work towards tax optimization without compromising compliance requirements u2022 Foster mutual trust and confidence with indirect subordinates and consultants. For immediate consideration contact Mark, u2022 Demonstrated proficiency in handling Complex Tax issues. u2022 Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. u2022 Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent certification is highly preferred. u2022 Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate tax, preferably within a large corporation or tax consultancy firm. u2022 Comprehensive understanding of federal, state, and local tax codes. u2022 Proven ability to prepare and review complex tax returns, estimates, and projections. u2022 Strong analytical skills to interpret tax regulations and compliance issues. u2022 Exceptional communication skills to effectively interact with various departments and stakeholders.
