Critical Facility Technician

Overview The Lead Critical Facility Technician assists the Critical Facility Technician to monitor and maintain all building systems and mission critical facilities equipment and other equipment associated with the raised floor environment. For information about ABMu2019s benefits, visit ABM Employee Benefits Front Line Team Members ( (Programa de Beneficios de ABM) Basic Qualifications: u2022 Must be 18 years of age or older u2022 Must possess a valid, unexpired driver's license u2022 Must possess journeyman HVAC license in the state, county or city jurisdiction in which work will be performed u2022 Three (3) years prior experience required as an HVAC technician Preferred Qualifications: u2022 Five (5) years' experience as HVAC technician in commercial setting is preferred. Responsibilities: u2022 Assist the Critical Facility Technician with testing and making rounds u2022 Ensure strict adherence to critical facility work rule and safety procedures u2022 Communicate and adhere to applicable Federal, State, and local rules, codes, and regulations u2022 Operate standard office equipment using basic computer skills u2022 Utilize Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook for daily communication and reports u2022 Perform physical counts of inventory on job sites and at facilities u2022 Ensure inventory is stored properly for inventory type (ex: sensitive electronics are temperature controlled) u2022 Assist with the daily/weekly/monthly walk-through of customer facilities in support of data center(s) and office operations u2022 Perform preventive maintenance on all building equipment u2022 Assist with scheduling of preventative maintenance, contracted maintenance, and general maintenance with minimal disruption of building services u2022 Respond quickly to emergency situations and customer concerns u2022 Ensure Critical Facilities Technician, Contract Manager and/or Customer receive timely verbal and written operating reports regarding critical systems and ongoing preventative maintenance u2022 Escort subcontractors as required A good job for someone just entering the workforce or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education.
