Description One of RHL's long-time clients, a boutique real estate litigation firm in downtown San Diego with a 37.5 hour work week, is seeking a Litigation Assistant to join the team and provide essential administrative support to our attorneys. This role requires proficiency in eFiling, court calendaring, document formatting, and discovery management. Responsibilities: + eFile pleadings, motions, and other legal documents with state and federal courts. + Maintain accurate and up-to-date court calendars and trial deadlines. + Format and proofread legal documents, including pleadings, motions, correspondence, and discovery requests, ensuring accuracy and compliance with court rules. + Manage and organize electronic and physical case files. + Assist with the preparation and service of discovery requests and responses. + Coordinate and schedule depositions. Requirements + Minimum of 2 years of experience as a litigation assistant or secretary in CA, preferably in a real estate or other complex litigation field. + Proficiency in eFiling with state and federal courts. + Strong knowledge of court rules and procedures in CA and San Diego, to docket litigation and trial deadlines accurately. + Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Styles/Macros especially). + Experience with document management systems and legal calendaring software. Pay is contingent upon experience, but likely $62-75K. One day per week from home will be granted after training.
