Pharmacist - must live in TX

Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring remote pharmacists For this role you must reside within Texas. This role is work from home and all equipment is provided. Type: 9-month contract starting in September, opportunity for extension or full-time offer Schedule: 8-hour shift between 5am - Midnight CST, 5 days a week which may or may not include a weekend day(s) Pay: $54.70 to $59.64 an hour, based on location u00b7 Training for the first four weeks is Monday through Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm CST. This training time is subject to change. u00b7 Shift after training is an 8-hour shift with one-half or an hour lunch. Candidate must be available as early as 5am and as late as midnight. u00b7 Candidate will work 5 days a week which may or may not include a weekend day(s). Primary Responsibilities: u00b7 Serve as a clinical resource working from a computer, reviewing prior authorizations and receiving phone calls from prior authorization pharmacy technicians and/or healthcare providers to gather, clarify, and assess detailed clinical information. u00b7 Interpret medical and pharmacy policy criteria to make sound and timely coverage determinations in accordance with federal, state, and organizational guidelines. u00b7 Consult directly with prescribing physicians and healthcare providers to clarify clinical questions, interpret guideline criteria, and provide decisions on prior authorization requests. u00b7 Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and/or prescribers to provide clinical insights on appropriate medication usage. Recommend cost-effective, formulary-compliant therapeutic alternatives when applicable, supporting optimal patient care and medication access.
