Pharmacy Technician

Type: 9-month contract, with opportunity to extend or full-time offer Schedule: 8-hour shift between 5am and Midnight Pay: $18.95 to $21.42 an hour, based on location u00b7 Training for the first four weeks is Monday through Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm. This training time is subject to change. u00b7 Shift after training is an 8-hour shift with one-half or an hour lunch. Candidate must be available as early as 5am and as late as midnight. u00b7 Candidate will work 5 days a week which may or may not include a weekend day(s). Responsibilities of the Pharmacy Technician: u00b7 Navigate across multiple computer systems to identify information needed for outbound calls to members/providers. u00b7 Make outgoing calls as needed to provide information on prior authorization case outcome, follow-up or consultation such as prior authorization requirements, appeals, etc. u00b7 Educate members / guardians, providers, pharmacy staff on procedures to avoid compliance risk. u00b7 Meet departmental established performance expectations and working independently to complete tasks in a timely manner. u00b7 May include processing member prior authorizations through various computer systems ensuring the accuracy of all data and updating as necessary. u00b7 May take incoming calls from members or providers and apply benefit plan criteria in making decisions (approvals / denials) or recommendations; clarify and explain pharmaceutical benefits and procedures. u00b7 May partner with others to gather additional information and / or to interpret clinical guidelines; act as a resource for others Qualifications for the Pharmacy Technician: u00b7 HS Diploma or GED u00b7 Texas Pharmacy Technician license u00b7 National CPhT license preferred u00b7 Must reside within Texas Why work for Adecco? u00b7 Weekly Pay u00b7 401(k) Plan u00b7 Skills Training u00b7 Excellent medical, dental, and vision benefits IMPORTANT: This Pharmacy Technician job is being recruited for by Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences division, not your local Adecco Branch Office.
