Job Title: HVAC & Refrigeration Technician An HVAC & Refrigeration technician at McMarro Family Restaurants is part of a facilities team. The team as a whole play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of 46 McDonaldu2019s restaurants. Our HVAC & Refrigeration technician ensure the proper functioning of the HVAC and refrigeration systems in our restaurants. This job requires our technicians to drive to different locations daily, work during different hours of the day and different days of the week. Responsibilities u00b7 Ensures the reliability and efficiency of our refrigeration and HVAC systems, contributing to smooth operations and excellent service delivery u00b7 Install, maintain, and repair various types of commercial refrigeration and HVAC systems u00b7 Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal system performance and extend the life of equipment u00b7 Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues with refrigeration and HVAC systems, implementing timely and effective solutions to minimize downtime u00b7 Collaborate with other technicians to troubleshoot complex problems and develop innovative solutions to enhance system reliability u00b7 Adhere to company policies, safety protocols and industry regulations to ensure safe operations u00b7 Complete daily work assignments accurately and in a timely manner u00b7 Maintain an adequate stock of maintenance materials and equipment to prevent shortages or excess inventory and maintain them in proper working condition u00b7 Keep detailed records of daily work assignments u00b7 Ensure work areas are safe and organized at all times u00b7 Attend job training and safety programs organized by the company u00b7 Lead by example, demonstrating reliability, punctuality, and integrity u00b7 Maintain strong attention to detail, ensuring all tasks are completed to high standards and identifying potential hazards before they escalate Qualifications u00b7 5+ years working with commercial refrigeration units and HVAC systems u00b7 Strong diagnostic and repair skills in refrigeration and HVAC systems u00b7 Solid understanding of safety protocols and industry regulations in refrigeration u00b7 EPA Certification is required u00b7 Ability to work independently and as part of a team to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues u00b7 Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with team members u00b7 Valid driveru2019s license and a satisfactory driving record is required u00b7 Comfortable with working alone and/or with minimal supervision u00b7 Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, operate power tools and equipment, physical stamina to perform maintenance tasks and remain active throughout shifts u00b7 Bilingual is a plus Benefits u00b7 Vacation u00b7 Health insurance u00b7 401(k) profit-sharing savings plan u00b7 Sick Time - in accordance with City or State ordinance u00b7 Tuition assistance and English classes as a second language u00b7 Discount programs u00b7 Free meals / meal discounts Requsition ID: PDX_MC_42404C49-B56A-47AD-A33E-F2CA254554D4_11656McDonald's Corporation and McDonald's USA, LLC (the
