Crew Team Member

Team Member: Team Members will wear many hats at the Carter Organization (including a uniform hat), in order to deliver a gold standard experience to all customers. All Team Members are expected to become cross-trained in all three areas of the business: Service, Production and Maintenance/Sanitation. This is to ensure we can provide continuity gold standard service. Our goal is to help develop each Team Member to become operational experts, who can teach and coach new Team Members while being a role model for providing a gold standard experience to our customers. As s Team Member for the Carter Organization, the below is a job description for each area of the business: PRODUCTION AREA: u00b7 Prepare, cook, assemble, and present food safely, quickly and efficiently, meeting gold standards u00b7 Be knowledgeable of the assignments for all kitchen stations, including fries, grilling, frying, assembling, initiating, and food prep u00b7 Stock kitchen inventory as needed u00b7 Keep the kitchen neat, clean and orderly at all times u00b7 Keep up to date with new products rolled out by McDonaldu2019s u00b7 Work safely around kitchen equipment and report any maintenance issues to Leadership u00b7 Maintain personal knowledge by completing ongoing training and stay up to date on any changes u00b7 Complete all opening or closing tasks as assigned MAINTENANCE/SANITATION: u00b7 The ability to move freely in and around obstacles common in the restaurant. u00b7 The ability to bend, stoop and reach around, behind and across restaurant equipment and furniture. u00b7 Responsible for the sanitation and operation of restaurant equipment such as toasters, ovens, microwaves, fryers, grills, coffee machines, drink machines, etc. The effective operation of such equipment requires the use of all limbs and the ability to see at a close distance. u00b7 Sweeping, mopping, deck brushing floors and baseboards u00b7 Learning how to complete daily, weekly and monthly Planned Maintenance tasks u00b7 Complete all opening or closing tasks as assigned SERVICE AREA: u00b7 Speaking enthusiastically to all customers with a smile u00b7 Assembling food orders on trays or bags u00b7 Assisting cooks with food preparation u00b7 Taking payments for food orders and providing correct change (math skills) u00b7 Stocking condiments, paper supplies and beverage stations u00b7 Assisting customer via telephone and mobile app u00b7 Assisting Delivery Drivers with the same respect as Team Members ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE TEAM MEMBER POSITION: The intellectual and physical demands described below are representative of what must be met by Team Members to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
