Shift Manager Role: Support the RGM by running great shifts in a self-sufficient manner. Take ownership and responsibility to solve problems; seek help from others when appropriate; and be willing to provide help and guidance to others. Responsibilities and Accountabilities: Ensuring Consistent Customer Satisfaction u2022 Execute the MIC (Manager-In-Charge) Success Routine and ensure responsibilities under People, Customers and Service are completed. u2022 Ensure that all Team Members complete their Shift Excellence tasks for their assigned position(s). u2022 Ensure that all employees present a neat clean appearance and wear company uniform. u2022 Personally demonstrate the Customer needs are the highest priority. u2022 Ensure food safety, quality and accuracy of orders. u2022 Resolve customer complaints quickly while maintaining positive customer relations. u2022 Greets customers with a smile, is polite and pleasant when speaking with customers. u2022 Works with urgency. u2022 Works with management and fellow employees. u2022 Cooperation with peers - work with fellow employees as part of a team, helps others when they need a hand. u2022 Demonstrates a positive and enthusiastic attitude with co-workers. Attendance u2022 Understands posted work schedule and reports to work as scheduled, on time, in uniform and ready to begin tasks. Provides appropriate notice when unable to be at work. u2022 Understands and uses approved time keeping system, including accurately recording all hours worked. Initiative and Energy u2022 Takes action without being told, goes beyond what is simply required and maintains a high activity level. Developing People u2022 Provide regular feedback to the RGM on the performance of Team Members. u2022 Provide ongoing constructive and complimentary feedback to Team Members. u2022 Actively participates in the training of Team Members. u2022 Handle conflicts constructively and works with RGM to achieve resolution. Act Like an Owner u2022 Assist Profit and Loss management by following cash control/security procedures, maintaining inventory and managing labor. u2022 Oversee proper product preparation, rotation, portioning, cooking and holding times. u2022 Assist RGM with facility maintenance and ensure health and safety standards are followed at all times. u2022 Perform other duties as required by manager. Job Requirements and Essential Functions: u2022 Strong preference for internal promote form Hourly Champion position. u2022 Must be at least 18 years old. u2022 Must pass background check criteria and drug test. u2022 Must have reliable transportation. u2022 Able to do basic business math. u2022 Able to stock shelves and coolers. u2022 Able to oversee and manage subordinate employees and provide direction. u2022 Able to sweep and mop floors, dust shelves and lift and carry out trash containers and place in an outside bin. u2022 Able to clean the parking lot and grounds surrounding the restaurant. u2022 Able to tolerate standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs. and stooping during 90% of shift time.
