Handles the development of commodity or category sourcing strategies, ensuring the suppliers are capable of meeting AR/Wearable's current and future technical and business requirements. 2. Involve in the RFQ process, and driving final supplier selection in partnership with Electrical Engineering, Quality, and other cross-functional partners. 3. Responsible for supplier selection criteria, evaluating alternative suppliers. 4. Utilizing contingency plans to de-risk technical challenges, long lead time, single source, Cost challenges and any supply issue. 5. Develops Checks and Balances to optimize schedule flexibility while minimizing excess inventory exposure. 6. Collaborate with MPMs (Material program managers) to resolve any part shortages which affect production schedules. Minimum Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: 7. Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Supply Chain, Engineering, Management, or related field 8. Completion of one graduate-level coursework, research project or internship must include experience in the following: 9. 1. Material management and CTB (Clear to Build) 10. 2.
