Amazon Web Servicesu2019 Network Products Development team is looking for experienced test professionals to help build our next generation networking platforms. The right candidate will play a key role in the design and development of our next generation Ethernet switching platforms for our world class data centers. You will have previous experience testing network products. This includes reviewing designs for testability, developing manufacturing test plans, executing them, troubleshooting issues found during early prototype stages and transition to manufacturing. Compile and analyze production test data using automated data analysis techniques. You should be passionate about the role testing plays in achieving product reliability and quality. Applying skills in developing new test processes, test automation and debug is expected. Key job responsibilities Develop and implement detailed validation plans tailored to specific hardware designs Collaborate with design and production teams to understand and test against product requirements Analyze and interpret data from validation tests, offering insights and recommendations Design and document validation processes, findings, and insights in a structured and clear manner Component specification study and component validation Oversee and plan the use of validation equipment to guarantee consistent results Work cross-functionally to troubleshoot and address any hardware issues identified during validation Second source qualification, cost down design validation and manufacturing efficiencies Support new product introduction and Sustaining engineering Develop and contribute in testing automation A day in the life On an everyday basis as part of our team, you have the unique opportunity to understand the growing AWS network and our internal customersu2019 requirement on interconnect solutions. About the team Within AWS Networking the NPD (Network Product Development) organization is responsible for, designing the hardware, building the software, and owning the interconnects for the routers that power the global AWS network. Beyond product delivery we actively manage the fleet or routers in a network that grows by 70% annually. This means tracking key business and operational metrics to ensure that we operate smoothly and minimize or eliminate customer impact due to device related issues for a transparent AWS customer experience. The base pay for this position ranges from $105,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market.
