Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in San Francisco, California. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with clients and senior leadership, managing complex tax strategies and financial processes. Responsibilities: u2022 Prepare and review various tax filings, including corporate, partnership, individual, trust, and estate income returns. u2022 Conduct in-depth research on tax regulations and financial practices to develop effective strategies. u2022 Collaborate directly with clients to address tax-related concerns and implement solutions. u2022 Develop and execute tax projections and strategies, ensuring compliance with quarterly tax payments. u2022 Oversee and guide less experienced tax accountants, providing mentorship and training on best practices. u2022 Represent clients during audits, working in partnership with senior leadership. u2022 Manage multiple client engagements simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality. u2022 Identify potential tax issues and propose proactive measures to mitigate risks. u2022 Ensure the accuracy and completeness of all financial and tax documentation. u2022 Provide consulting services on accounting policies and procedures for diverse businesses. Requirements u2022 Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, or Business with a focus on Accounting. u2022 CPA license or equivalent certification; advanced degree in Accounting or Taxation is preferred. u2022 Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax work, financial analysis, or related fields. u2022 Proficiency in tax software such as Lacerte, QuickBooks, and advanced Excel capabilities. u2022 Strong ability to conduct tax research using online tools and reliable resources. u2022 Exceptional attention to detail and adherence to error-free documentation standards. u2022 Excellent communication skills, including the ability to convey complex information clearly to clients and team members. u2022 Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
