Job Description

Description We are looking for a dedicated Benefits and Wellness Administrator to join our team in Solano County, California. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage employee benefit programs and wellness initiatives while ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills, bilingual Spanish communication abilities, and a passion for fostering employee well-being. Responsibilities: u2022 Oversee the administration of employee benefit programs, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, and retirement plans. u2022 Coordinate open enrollment processes, including updating systems and preparing communication materials. u2022 Process new enrollments, qualifying life events, and terminations within vendor systems. u2022 Manage the administration of time-off policies, leaves of absence, and accommodations in compliance with regulations. u2022 Develop and implement wellness programs that promote physical, mental, and financial health. u2022 Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to organize wellness events and track program participation. u2022 Research and compare competitorsu2019 benefit plans to recommend improvements for organizational offerings. u2022 Ensure timely employer contributions and employee payroll deductions are accurately processed. u2022 Respond to unemployment claims and manage related documentation. u2022 Maintain compliance with federal and California state laws, including FMLA and other applicable regulations. Requirements u2022 Fluency in both Spanish and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills. u2022 In-depth knowledge of federal and California state employment laws and regulations. u2022 Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with HR systems. u2022 Minimum of three yearsu2019 experience in benefits administration and wellness program development. u2022 Strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities. u2022 Ability to handle sensitive employee data with confidentiality and discretion. u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. u2022 Certification in HR practices, such as PHR or SHRM-CP, is a plus.
